So I'm in this GLBT employee group at work and we are planning our company's
participation in our local Pride event. Yesterday I get an email asking me
to come to a meeting on this Friday after work for a planning session. This kind of surprised me for a couple reasons.

One, we have our regularly scheduled meeting the very next day. I realize
Pride is in six weeks, (Phoenix has it way earlier than the rest of the nation
because June is too unbearable to have anything outdoors during the day. Just image all the drag queens with their make up melting and the leather
daddies sweating in their chaps. Not a pretty picture.) but what are
we going to get done the night before that we can't get done the very next day?

Two, Friday night Margaret Cho is
performing at the Dodge Theater. What kind of gay employee group is!? I mean, C'mon! What respectable
homo or dyke doesn't know this!? Geez!
