Here's what's been going on.
- It's
really frickin' hot here.
Some days, I think I am either going to melt away or burn into ash.
- Saw
The
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. It was fun.
- Went
to a gallery to here some
musicians play this weekend. When we walked in the door, everyone
turned around to look at us. Everyone.
Turns out we were the only people there who didn't know either a) the
gallery owners or b) the musicians who were performing. (And
while we're are on the subject...I use the term musicians very loosely
here. Either these guys just rolled off the sofa just in time to make
it to their gig or khaki shorts and flip flops are part of the
uniform. Also, Dude, when it comes to harmonica, unless your name is
John Popper; less is more.)
- Drove
around looking at houses that are for rent. The Roommate and I haven't
decided if we want to rent a house, condo, townhouse, apartment, live in our
cars or check into a shelter. So far all we know is we definitely want
to move far, far, far away from the crackhole dump we are in now.
Every day is a new adventure in "ew!".
