The wedding was lovely. The brides looked beautiful and
radiant. The ceremony was very touching. The toasts were
funny and heartfelt. We ate well and danced until we were
exhausted. It was a truly wonderful evening.

Many people who spoke, including Micheale and Cheryl, talked about the love and bond
of our circle of friends: the family we chose. I looked around the
room at all of us who traveled so far to participate and witness the
ceremony and it struck me how amazingly lucky we all are to have the
friends we have and how important this "chosen family" truly
is.

It was one of those moments that make me truly grateful for the people
in my life and reminds me not to take the gifts of those friendships for
granted.
