Have two cats myself - and I have moved a lot around - it takes some time before they're comfortable in new homes. Good luck with the moving though, both.
Hang in there! Moving is one of life's most annoying experiences, I think. But once you're there, it's great fun to settle in your new digs and get to know your area. Hope you love it! (We have to move soon, too. sigh)
