Second Grade Report Card

Teacher's notes from first quarter.

Brian is maturing every day. We need to work on better study habits and not visiting with neighbors.

I'm developing my social skills. Lay off me.

Brian isn't always the last one now.

Bitch. She actually underlined the word last.

Teacher's notes from third quarter.

Brian has been wasting time lately.

And your point?

...and things went downhill from there until you were blogging at work! A true sign of eccentric genius.

You know... kind of like I'm doing now...

No child left behind and all.

My third grade teacher--Mr. Dick, I kid you not--built a wooden partition and placed it on my desk to keep me from "visiting" other students. My mother decided I didn't learn enough that year so SHE had me repeat the third grade and I have been in therapy ever since.

In third grade I read our Reading skills book all the way through in the first two weeks. The teacher complained about that on my report card.

Sister Mary Patrick once complained to my parents that I 'resisted discipline' by ducking when she threw a textbook at me.

That's cool notes. Thanks for sharing. Have to find my own notes now ;)

and just look at ya now!
