All Souls Procession 2008

This year's All Souls Procession was HUGE! There were so many more people there than years before, which is amazing since the procession was so much later after Halloween and Dia Del Los Muertos than usual.

Homer, Sandy and I made tombstones commemorating the loss of gay rights.

After being so angry about the passing of anti-gay constitutional amendments, it was so awesome having people come up to us thanking us for making the signs and telling us they support us and it will be overturned. One girl came up and hugged us. Tucson is a very cool, progressive town.
I took a ton of pictures this year. They are on Flickr and below.

That was an awesome procession. People in Tucson are too cool for words.

The tombstones are great..though I'm so sad you even had reason to make them. And Sandy's right; you guys rocked!

Thank you for sharing the pictures. Love them, especially the All Good Dogs poster.
I loved the parade and next year want to be more than an observer.
