Why I Live in the Desert

Mountains

I know I said I wanted it to snow while I was in Denver, but gee whiz. I say a lot of things.

Thomas and I drove to Red Rock today but when we realized we were the only people on the road not in a four-wheel drive, we just took a brief look and then followed this guy home.

My Hero!

He's my hero for today.

Well, you can't have it both ways, whadda you want, snow or sunshine? If you'd prefer sunshine we've got plenty of it here! I think it looks utterly amazing and you should consider yourself lucky you have the opportunity to experience it.

There, does that sound motherly enough?

It has been 20 degrees or so colder here since early November and we have no snow. If it is going to be so effing cold it could at least snow.
