I got a new camera today.
Of course, I took this picture with my old camera. I'm surprised that camera is still working considering it's older than some of my friends' children and I've dropped it about a million times.

It's been an awesome no-frills camera but one thing I won't miss is that postage stamp size display screen.
The new camera has a HUGE screen.
No squinting or bifocals needed for that screen!
Ignore those smudges, please.
I can't wait to see what all the little do-dads and whatsits can do.
I am starting to loathe Thursdays. They are excessively busy at The Coal Mine®. You'll notice a huge chunk of time between picture three and four. That was just when I was working NON-STOP.

Last month, I realized I've live here for a year and still haven't hung any pictures. Mostly because I'm not sure how to put nails into concrete, but also because well... I'm kinda lazy. Case in point: I just hung pictures on existing nails no matter where they were.

Oh hey. Look. I finally put up a new banner. Fancy that.
It would have been up sooner but my brain has felt like a paper sack full of applesauce lately. Don't get me wrong. I'm thrilled and grateful to have this job but MAN do they keep me busy. Take last Thursday for example. The only break in my ten plus hour day was a fire drill.
You read that correctly. A FIRE DRILL.
Ugh.
