Heather

Meet Heather. Heather is my friend and co-worker. A few weeks ago, Heather was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 29.
Two weeks ago, Heather had a Bilateral Mastectomy to have 99% of her breast tissue removed.

Both boobs, gone... before 30. Sucks, right?
Needless to say, it's been an emotional few weeks in the office. Heather is well-respected and quiet beloved. What's truly remarkable is her attitude and spirit. She has remained the same positive, funny, goal-driven Heather she always is since her diagnosis. She is, quite simply, amazing.
She is her own superhero.
Here's the part where you can be a superhero too.
On October 10, I and my co-workers will be participating in the Komen Walk for a Cure. If you are able, please consider sponsoring me and pledging your support for this much needed research as well as education and health services.
If you would like to sponsor me, you may make a donation here.

Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it and I know Heather does too.
