The final Stampapalooza mailing arrived in Australia. That's two sumptin sumptins that went to Australia this round. I'm HUGE down under, ya'll.

Insert fat joke here ______.

MzOuiser Got Her Mail!

Mzouiser Mail

The goodies arrived! She has some photos of her loot on Flickr.

I still have one more to mail out if I ever get off my lazy ass and go to the post office.

I have to say, this year's Stampapalooza has certainly fed my dollar store obsession. I might have to do this again soon.

Merry Magpie Got Her Mail

Magpie Mail

I was feeling kind of gloomy when I got home. Then, I found her email in my inbox. She totally brightened my day.

Julia Got Her Mail

Astrud and Stampapalooza!

And Astrud the Kittybear approves!

Julia is the lovely and talented sister of the lovely and talented Alden. Them's some good genes running in that family tree.

Being an only child, I've always been sort of fascinated by the dynamic of siblings. When I'm around siblings, I sometimes catch myself observing them and making mental notes about how the interact with each other. Like Jane Goodall watching the gorillas. But I'm sure Julia and Alden don't pick things out of each other's hair.

At least I hope not.

Last Batch

Sung to the tune of Last Dance.

Oh, it's my last batch†...last batch...to mailllll.

Guess what. I'm out of stamps!

Doh!

If I get time today, I'll take this batch of Stampapalooza goodies to the post office today to ship.

Now, do yourself a favor and check out UK jazz artist Eliza Lumley and her amazing album of Radiohead covers.

Go on. Do it!

†Unless you ask nicely.

UPDATE: Sent!

And in answer to Kezza's comment, I've sent a total of 12 and the farthest one went to Australia!

Tuna Girl Got Her Stuff

Karen's Stuff

Read all about it on Tuna Girl's fan-freaking-tastic blog.

I went shopping for round two last night. I must say, the Dollar Tree NEVER disappoints.

In nasal related news, I'm starting to accept the fact I may never breathe through my nose again. Ugh. I am sick of this. Plus, I drank a hot toddy followed by a couple Nyquil® chasers the other night that I not only slept through an awesome storm, but also didn't realize the power went out. I woke up at 8 AM (late for work thankyouverymuch) when I heard my fan come alive.

Can a mouth-breather be a hottie too?

See his other photos here.

I'll send out the next batch next week. Hopefully by then I will be over this cold/allergy attack/whatever it is.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to blow my nose. Again. For the 100th time today.

Ugh.

Going Postal

Stampz

A couple weeks ago, I received an email from a reader (Hi Melissa!) who saw the Great Stampapalooza of 2006 and wanted to know if she could get in on that action. I send her a little sumptin, sumptin earlier this week.

It was a lot of fun the first time, so let's do it again! Email me your mailing address† (my email can be found in Contact Me or in the footer at the bottom of the page.) and I will mail you some goodies. I can't promise it will be as great as Tony Danza Post-it notes, but I will do my best.

† You won't be added to any databases or mailing lists. You probably won't receive a Christmas card either since I'm lazy and never mail them although I like telling people I don't mail them to help the environment because that sounds much better. You also won't be stalked, unless you are really hot. If you are really hot, send plenty of photos with your request.

Stamps...OMG!...Stamps.

Stamps

Guess what I found yesterday on the end table next to the sofa.

That's right...MORE STAMPS. Oy. Why is it I can never find them when I actually need them?

Oh well, just means there are more opportunities to mail some goodness to the fine readers of this humble lil' blog.

So, hit me up while supplies last. (My email is in the upper right over there.)

Mr. Postman

We moved to another floor at my job yesterday. While cleaning out my desk I found not one, not two, not three but four books of stamps. FOUR!

I hate stamps. I rarely ever need them but when I do I can never find just one, so I'm buying 20 stamps. And then I can't find that book when I need them again so I end up buying another book of them. It's a vicious cycle with me and the postal service.

Looking at these stamps, I see that some are old. I'm not even sure how much stamps are. So if I use these, I'll likely put two on an envelope to make sure the postage is adequate.

Bah. I hate stamps.

So here's the deal. To exhaust my surplus, If you...yes you, send me your address, I will mail you something. May be a note. May be a card. May be a doodle. But it will a personal handwritten piece of correspondence from me which I'm sure you have been clamoring for.

You can email your address to me. You can find my email address up in the top right. You won't be added to any mailing lists except maybe a Christmahanukwanzaka list if I ever send out Christmahanukwanzaka cards.

However, probably what you do receive will have two stamps affixed.
